Day 188: A Model Ship for Dad

At a hobby shop, Siwoo (B), a primary school boy, asks the owner (A) about glue for the model ship he is building.

Sure do. So you're building a ship. What kind?
B 거북선이에요. 아빠 생일 선물로 만드는 중이에요.

A turtle ship. I'm making it for my dad's birthday.
A 멋진 선물이네. 근데 지금은 무슨 풀을 쓰고 있니?

What a great present. So what glue are you using now?
B 집에 있는 종이 풀로 붙였는데, 부품이 자꾸 떨어져요.

I used the paper glue we have at home, but the pieces keep falling off.
A 하하, 그럼 안 붙지. 플라스틱에는 이 풀을 써야 돼.

If you put on just a little at a time, one is plenty. And after you stick a piece, hold it tight for five minutes.
