Day 196: Voice Profiles for a Dating App

At a dating-app company, Mr. Seo (A), the team manager, asks Nari (B) and Minjae (C) for new ideas at a meeting.

How to study this lesson 4 steps

Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Still learning Hangul? Tick Romanization to see how each line sounds, but read the Korean first.
Download the Anki deck below and review it every day. It has every line of today's dialogue. Review earlier decks too when Anki asks you to.
Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Korean, for example from the Resources page. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

Hmm, that's a bit weak. "Your voice meets them first." Isn't that better?
C 너무 진지해요. 데이트 앱이니까 '목소리에 반한다!' 이런 게 낫죠.

Too serious. It's a dating app, so something like "Fall for a voice!" works better.
A 둘 다 좋은데요. 하나를 고르는 대신에 광고를 두 개 만들어서 회원들 반응을 봅시다.
