Day 25: Step Challenge Confessions

At Monday's team meeting, manager Kang (A) checks how the step challenge is going for his team members Sujin (B) and Junho (C).

How to study this lesson 4 steps

Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Still learning Hangul? Tick Romanization to see how each line sounds, but read the Korean first.
Download the Anki deck below and review it every day. It has every line of today's dialogue. Review earlier decks too when Anki asks you to.
Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Korean, for example from the Resources page. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

Me... The first week went well, but on a rainy day I ended up taking a taxi.

Two thousand. The next day I overslept and ended up taking a taxi again.
A 아, 그래서 준호 씨가 요즘 지각을 안 했구나! 하하.

Oh, so that's why Junho's been on time lately! Ha ha.
B 사실 저도... 어젯밤 열두 시에 치킨을 먹고 말았어요.

Actually, me too... Last night at midnight, I ended up eating fried chicken.
A 걸음 수만 세니까 괜찮아요. 근데 몇 조각 먹었어요?
