Day 26 of 185

Day 26: Red Ginseng for the Exam Son

At a neighbourhood pharmacy, Mrs. Kim (A), an older woman, asks Jaemin (B), the young pharmacist, for vitamins for her son.

How to study this lesson 4 steps
  1. Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
  2. Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Still learning Hangul? Tick Romanization to see how each line sounds, but read the Korean first.
  3. Download the Anki deck below and review it every day. It has every line of today's dialogue. Review earlier decks too when Anki asks you to.
  4. Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Korean, for example from the Resources page. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

Dialogue

Audio recordings are on the way. For now, each lesson is the dialogue with its English translation.

Excuse me, could I have your best vitamins? The strongest ones you've got.

  2. B λ„€, μ–΄λ¨Έλ‹˜. ν˜Ήμ‹œ λˆ„κ°€ λ“œμ‹€ κ±°μ˜ˆμš”?

Deutgo boni geureonneyo. Naega aereul neomu murihage morabutyeonna bwayo.

Now that you say it, you're right. I suppose I've been pushing him too hard.

All right. Tonight I won't mention studying. I'll just cook him something nice.
