Day 211: Vinegar Before the First Bite

At a small cold-noodle restaurant, Mr. Jo (A), the elderly owner, brings a bowl of naengmyeon to Sunhee (B), a regular customer.

  1. Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
  2. Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Still learning Hangul? Tick Romanization to see how each line sounds, but read the Korean first.
