Day 218: A Box of Gangwon Potatoes

At her neighbour's door, Jungmin (A) brings some potatoes over for Eunhee (B), who lives next door.

Eunhee, I brought you some potatoes. My mother-in-law sent me a whole box.
B 어머, 이렇게 많이요? 고마워요.

Oh my, this many? Thank you.
A 강원도 감자라서 맛있어요. 같이 감자전 해 먹을래요?

Gangwondo gamjaraseo masisseoyo. Gachi gamjajeon hae meogeullaeyo?

They're from Gangwon-do, so they're really good. Shall we make potato pancakes together?
B 좋아요! 그런데 감자전은 한 번도 안 만들어 봤어요.

I'd love to! But I've never made potato pancakes.

A 좋아요. 갈면서 이야기해요. 요즘 얼굴 보기 힘들었어요.

Great. We can chat while we grate. We've hardly seen each other lately.
B 맞아요. 아, 부칠 때 김치도 좀 넣을까요?

That's true. Oh, should we add some kimchi when we fry them?
A 좋죠! 김치 넣으면 더 맛있어요.
