Day 72: No Stickers on the New Wallpaper

On moving day, Seoa (A), a teenager, walks into her very own room for the first time with her mother (B).

Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Still learning Hangul? Tick Romanization to see how each line sounds, but read the Korean first.

B 그래. 침대하고 책상은 어디에 놓을래?

Yes, it is. Where do you want your bed and desk?
A 침대는 창문 옆에 놓을래. 책상은 이쪽 벽 앞에 둘래.

Chimdaeneun changmun yeope noeullae. Chaeksangeun ijjok byeok ape dullae.

The bed goes next to the window. And the desk against this wall.
B 좋은 것 같아. 그런데 벽에 스티커는 붙이지 마. 새 벽지야.

Sounds good. But no stickers on the walls. It's new wallpaper.
A 왜? 아이돌 스티커 붙이고 싶어!

Why? I want to put up my idol stickers!
B 안 돼. 대신 책상에 붙여. 거기는 괜찮아.

No. Stick them on your desk instead. That's fine.
A 알았어. 그럼 천장은? 천장은 벽이 아니지?

Arasseo. Geureom cheonjangeun? Cheonjangeun byeogi aniji?
