   C 메뉴가 많을 때는 손님들이 메뉴판만 십 분씩 보시다가 결국 제일 무난한 걸 시키셨어요. 김치찌개 아니면 된장찌개요.

   When we had lots of dishes, people would stare at the menu for ten minutes and end up ordering the safest thing. Kimchi stew or soybean stew.

   Choose from twenty? Someone like me would still be choosing at closing time.

    C 재료도 문제였어요. 메뉴가 많으면 남는 재료를 버리게 되고 신선도도 떨어지거든요. 다섯 개로 줄이니까 오히려 맛이 좋아졌어요.

    Ingredients were a problem too. With lots of dishes, you end up throwing out leftovers, and things aren't as fresh. Once I cut down to five, the food actually got better.

    I learned about that in a psychology class. When there are too many options, people put off deciding, or regret their choice more afterwards.
