Day 133: Engraving the Couple Rings

At a jewellery shop, Hyunwoo (A) orders couple rings for his girlfriend's birthday from Ms. Jung (B), a member of staff.

B 글씨를 많이 넣으시면 글자가 작아져서 잘 안 보입니다. 이니셜만 넣으시는 게 좋습니다.

Geulssireul mani neoeusimyeon geuljaga jagajyeoseo jal an boimnida. Inisyeolman neoeusineun ge joseumnida.

If you put in a lot of letters, they get too small to read. It's better to put just your initials.
A 아, 그래요? 그럼 이니셜하고 날짜만 넣을게요.

It's a surprise, so I don't know exactly. Probably around an 11.
B 이 반지는 나중에 사이즈를 늘리면 무늬 사이가 넓어집니다.

I banjineun najunge saijeureul neullimyeon munui saiga neolbeojimnida.

With this ring, if you size it up later, the gaps in the pattern get wider.
A 음, 이 디자인은 예쁜 반면에 사이즈 바꾸기가 어렵네요.

Hmm, so this design is pretty, but it's hard to resize.

Try measuring her finger with a piece of thread while she's asleep. Lots of people do that.
