Day 154: Almost Bought the Limited Sneakers

At home, Jihoon (A), a teenager, tells his father (B) about something he did that day.

I was about to join the queue outside the shop, but I turned back. If I spend all my allowance, I can't do anything for a month.

A 아깝기는 아깝지. 친구들은 벌써 다 샀거든.

B 그럼 이렇게 하자. 석 달 동안 용돈을 모으면 아빠가 반을 보태 줄게.

Then here's the deal. Save your allowance for three months, and I'll put in half.
A 진짜? 근데 석 달 지나면 그 운동화 다 팔리고 없을 텐데.

Really? But in three months those sneakers will be sold out.
B 그럼 더 좋은 게 나올 때 사. 그때는 네 돈도 더 많을 거고.
