Day 155: Job Shadowing at a TV Station

During a school career day at a TV station, classmates Minjun (A) and Seoyeon (B) whisper as they watch the staff at work.

How to study this lesson 4 steps

Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Still learning Hangul? Tick Romanization to see how each line sounds, but read the Korean first.
Download the Anki deck below and review it every day. It has every line of today's dialogue. Review earlier decks too when Anki asks you to.
Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Korean, for example from the Resources page. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

Shh, keep your voice down. They're in a meeting for the evening news.

I think the camera side is cooler. But how do they carry that heavy thing all day?

Then you'd better start working out. Look at your arms, they're so skinny.
A 무슨 소리야. 나 요즘 헬스장 다니는 중이거든.

What are you talking about? I'm going to the gym these days, actually.
B 쉿! 빨간 불 켜졌어. 지금 녹화하는 중이야.

Shh! The red light's on. They're recording now.
A 알았어. 나중에 우리 둘 다 이 방송국에서 일하면 좋겠다.

Okay. I hope we both get to work at this TV station one day.
B 그러려면 오늘 체험 보고서부터 잘 써야겠다.
