Day 263: Order Whatever You Like, Mom

On a visit to Seoul, a mother (A) is taken out to dinner by her daughter Yerin (B), who wants to treat her.

B 괜찮아요. 오늘은 제가 살 거예요.

It's fine. I'm paying today.
A 그럼 김치찌개 하나만 시켜.

Then just order one kimchi stew.
B 안 돼요. 불고기 시킬 거예요. 잡채도 시키고요.

No way. I'm getting the bulgogi. And the japchae, too.
A 너무 많아. 둘이 다 못 먹어.

Neomu mana. Duri da mot meogeo.

That's too much. We can't eat all that.
B 엄마, 오늘은 많이 드세요. 네?

Eomma, oneureun mani deuseyo. Ne?
