Day 105: Lost ID Badge in Week One

In her first week at a new office, Jiwon (B) goes to her senior colleague Ms. Park (A) in a panic.

Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Still learning Hangul? Tick Romanization to see how each line sounds, but read the Korean first.

Then try the front desk on the first floor, or tell the department head.
B 부장님께요? 첫 주인데 너무 창피해요.

The department head? It's only my first week. That's so embarrassing.
A 에이, 창피한 일 아니에요. 저도 신입일 때 두 번이나 잃어버렸어요.

Oh, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. When I was new, I lost mine twice.
B 정말요? 그럼 데스크에 먼저 가 볼게요.

Really? Then I'll try the front desk first.
A 같이 가요. 데스크 직원이 제 친구예요.
