Day 160: Grandpa Watches a K-Pop Video

At home, Dohyun (B) shows his grandfather, Youngho (A), a music video by his favourite K-pop group.

How to study this lesson 4 steps

Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Still learning Hangul? Tick Romanization to see how each line sounds, but read the Korean first.
Download the Anki deck below and review it every day. It has every line of today's dialogue. Review earlier decks too when Anki asks you to.
Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Korean, for example from the Resources page. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

Grandpa, these are my favourite singers. Want to watch with me?

But the song's really fast. I can't catch a single word.
B 요즘 노래는 다 빨라요. 그리고 영어도 많이 나와요.

Yojeum noraeneun da ppallayo. Geurigo Yeongeodo mani nawayo.

Songs these days are all fast. And there's a lot of English in them too.
A 아, 그래서 더 어렵군.

Ah, that's why it's even harder.
B 제가 노래 뜻 알려 드릴까요?
