Day 10: Swam as a Kid, Forgot Everything

At the reception desk of a district sports centre, Donghyun (A) signs up for swimming lessons with the receptionist (B).

How to study this lesson 4 steps

Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Still learning Hangul? Tick Romanization to see how each line sounds, but read the Korean first.
Download the Anki deck below and review it every day. It has every line of today's dialogue. Review earlier decks too when Anki asks you to.
Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Korean, for example from the Resources page. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

If it's been a long time, it's best to go back to the basics for the first two months.

B 저녁반은 다 찼습니다. 지금은 새벽 여섯 시 수업만 자리가 남아 있습니다.

Jeonyeokbaneun da chatseumnida. Jigeumeun saebyeok yeoseot si sueomman jariga nama itseumnida.

The evening classes are full. Right now there are only places left in the 6 a.m. class.
A 새벽 여섯 시요? 대학교 때는 새벽 운동도 다녔었는데, 요즘은 일곱 시에도 못 일어나요.

Saebyeok yeoseot siyo? Daehakgyo ttaeneun saebyeok undongdo danyeosseonneunde, yojeumeun ilgop siedo mot ireonayo.

Six a.m.? At university I even went to early-morning workouts, but these days I can't get up even at seven.
