Day 25: Which Pill After Breakfast

Back home from the pharmacy, Youngsoo (A), a man in his seventies, asks his wife Soonja (B) to help him sort out his new medicine.

How to study this lesson 4 steps

Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Still learning Hangul? Tick Romanization to see how each line sounds, but read the Korean first.
Download the Anki deck below and review it every day. It has every line of today's dialogue. Review earlier decks too when Anki asks you to.
Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Korean, for example from the Resources page. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

Dear, when do I take this one? They all look the same.
B 잠깐만. 약국에서 받은 봉투 어디 있어?

Jamkkanman. Yakgugeseo badeun bongtu eodi isseo?

Hang on. Where's the bag we got from the pharmacy?
A 여기. 아침에 먹는 약이 어떤 거야?

Yeogi. Achime meongneun yagi eotteon geoya?

Here. Which one's for the morning?
B 흰색 약이 아침 식사 후에 먹는 약이야.

Huinsaek yagi achim siksa hue meongneun yagiya.

The white one is the one you take after breakfast.
A 그럼 이 노란 약은?

Geureom i noran yageun?

Then what about this yellow one?
B 그건 자기 전에 먹는 약이야. 하루에 한 번만 먹어.

Geugeon jagi jeone meongneun yagiya. Harue han beonman meogeo.

That's the one you take before bed. Only once a day.
A 아이고, 복잡해. 내일이면 다 잊어버릴 거야.

Aigo, bokjapae. Naeirimyeon da ijeobeoril geoya.

Oh dear, it's so complicated. I'll have forgotten it all by tomorrow.
B 그래서 여기 크게 썼어. 봐, '아침', '밤'.

Geuraeseo yeogi keuge sseosseo. Bwa, 'achim', 'bam'.

That's why I've written it here in big letters. Look: "Morning", "Night".
